Courses: 1st semester of 3 year Engineering Diploma Courses
Academic Session: 2021-2022
Mode: Online
Date of 1st Round Counselling: 6th September to 15th September 2021
(a) Must qualify in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT-2021) for admission into Diploma Courses’ offered by SCTE, Assam as notified by the DTE, Assam.
(b) The candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject with –
- 40% marks (in Average) in Mathematics and Science for General candidates.
- 35% marks (in Average) in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates.
- 33% marks (in Average) in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates.
(c) If there is tie in PAT marks then the rank of the candidates will be decided by the mark obtained in the following subjects in order will be considered:
- General Science
- General Mathematics
- English
- MIL
- Other subject
The first round of online counselling for admission into the 1st semester diploma courses in the State Polytechnics of Assam will be held from 6th September to 15th September 2021.
Candidates must upload correct and true data/documents regarding the following :
a) Educational Qualification
b) Date of Birth
c) Caste / Category
d) PAT-2021 Score
e) PRC* and
f) Other Relevant Data
If any given information is found false, she/he will be disqualified at any stage and criminal proceedings will be drawn against him/her for misleading the counselling process and depriving the genuine candidates and it will be published in the public domain.
- All Categories (except Central Government Employee (CGE) Category): Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of the candidate/ parent, BPL Card of the parents or other relevant document (e.g. Aadhar Card) indicating Permanent residence of Assam.
- For Central Government Employee (CGE) Category: Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of the candidate/ parent, BPL Card of the parents or other relevant document (e.g. Aadhar Card) indicating Permanent residence of outside Assam.

➥ Update All the Necessary details.
➥ Upload All the Necessary Documents.
➥ Fill up All Your Preferences. Follow the guideline mentioned in the page.
➥ After re-viewing your form, Submit it and Take a Print out.
