Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released an employment notification for the recruitment 15 Project Technician & Project Assistant Vacancy in the project entitled “NPTEL MOOCs” at the Centre for Educational Technology, IIT Guwahati. 1. Project Assistant
No. of Posts: 2

Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Commerce or English with 3 years’ experience. Candidate should have experience in noting and drafting letters, Microsoft Office, Expertise in MS Excel, Proficiency in written and verbal communication.

2. Sr. Project Technician (Video)
No. of Posts: 11

Educational Qualification: Three years Degree / Diploma from a recognized institute in Mass Communications with 5 years experience in Editing / Cinematography / Sound OR Post Graduation in Mass communication with 3 years’ experience in Editing/Cinematography / Sound.

Desirable: 3 years experience in online switching, final cut pro/ Adobe premier pro, live camera handling and recording are desirable.

3. Sr. Project Technician (Web)
No. of Posts: 2

Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma from a recognized institute in Information Technology / Computer Science with 5 years experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer application / Information Technology / Computer Science with 5 years experience OR Master’s degree in Computer application / Information Technology / Computer Science with 3 years experience.

Desirable: One year experience in Windows administration and basic hardware-networking, web development.
